The Audi Q6 e-tron will be the four-ringed brand’s second mid-size electric SUV, but a few years down the line, it is expected to replace the Audi e-tron. It will be one of Volkswagen Group’s first models to ride on the Porsche-Audi co-developed PPE platform. Unlike the e-tron’s MLB Evo platform, PPE is a dedicated EV architecture.
Another significant difference is the 800-volt charging system instead of a 400-volt charging system. Up to 600 PS (592 hp) of power, 600 km (373 miles) of WLTP range, a more spacious cabin, and an all-new Android Automotive OS-based infotainment system are other things customers can look forward to. Scheduled to premiere at the end of 2023, the Q6 e-tron should start arriving at U.S. Audi dealers in the first half of 2024.
